Resolved Issues
- Smart Forms (Gen 2) view and edit history: Smart Forms now record views and edits in the task’s discussion history and audit trail, as Classic Forms (Gen 1) and Custom Forms do, so HR and compliance teams can confirm an employee opened a form before submitting it. Administrators and Lifeguard users can also open in-progress forms from the task. History is recorded from this release forward.
- Dynamic eForm PDF rendering: Printed PDFs of dynamic eForms once again keep the form’s configured text justification, page breaks, footer placement and field positions, and show all content on the last page.
- Key Property categories on the Employee Profile: A trash can icon no longer appears next to some Key Property categories on the Employee Profile. The icon could appear for categories no longer listed in Administration > Key Properties. Key Property values can now be changed only through the normal edit options.
- ROSI Form Builder uploads: Admins can once again upload a PNG, JPG or PDF from Events & Forms > Forms > New Form and have ROSI turn it into a Smart Form. On some sites, supported files had been returning “Your form hasn’t been processed. Please try uploading your file again.” Unsupported file types are still rejected with a clear message.
- Faster category selection on tasks: Selecting categories on tasks in the new Journeys (Events) tree and card settings is now much faster. Choosing “All” or a parent value on a large category, such as Location or Cost Center, could stall for several minutes, and cancelling discarded the selections already made. Admins can now finish assigning categories without long waits or lost work.
- OAuth permissions for Workflow web services: OAuth integration (API) users now need the permissions listed in the Rival Workflow Web Service Guide to call CompleteTaskEx, AddTaskNoteEx, GetEventReportEx and GetCompletedFormsList. We recommend confirming your integration’s API user has these permissions.
- DeleteTask web service: The DeleteTask web service now deletes tasks in task groups with a cloned parent task, as the Employee Task List does. When a task can’t be deleted, the response now explains why.
- Faster GetCompletedFormsList responses: Integrations calling the GetCompletedFormsList web service should see faster responses on sites with a large volume of forms. Results are unchanged for every combination of parameters, including the Is Form Delivered filter.
